Key eligibility for I ❤ Progress Day:
Non-profit organization in North Dakota or Clay County, Minnesota. (Those who do not have IRS non-profit standing must have a fiscal sponsor.)
Must have an organizational online donation portal and an online presence outside of social media (such as a website or donation site) .
Hold non-discriminatory views toward LBGTQ+ and BIPOC communities and an expressed commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion as an organization.
Commitment to collaboration in I ❤ Progress Day with other organizations with diverse views may have diverse views different from your organization.
What is I ❤ Progress Day?
Many non-profit organizations experience an incredible flurry of excitement in fundraising during this annual time of giving. But some in our community don’t realize that there are organizations doing important work that are not able to participate due to in our regions program due to parameters, cost, or missional fit. So, why not create a space with a central location to highlight those often forgotten on this regional day of giving.
Is there is a cost associated with I ❤ Progress Day?
No. Part of the purpose of I ❤ Progress Day is to come together as a low to no cost collaboration and alternative for fundraising. While this collaboration does incur some costs, contributing to any expenses is not compulsory but includes a commitment by those who are able to contribute to do so in a spirit of lifting up all participants for the common cause of progress. Contributors have the opportunity to receive priority listing on the website and in marketing materials.
